Running sushi at discoung prices

Asaka is a Running sushi restaurant in central Munich. On the door, you will read that the restaurant serves sushi and dim sum. The latter are Cantonese dishes, usually served along with tea. You will not find those in the Asaka though. Instead, their interpretation of dim sum are all kinds of small Asian dishes including all kinds of fried treats. The advantage is that you can take your friends along even if they do not like sushi.

The quality and taste of the food is a little over average. The main reason to go to the Asaka is the prices. In the evening, you pay 19.80 Euro for the all you can eat. For lunch, and this is almost unbelievable, the price is 8.50 Euro (last checked: February 20, 2011). This is made possible by the fact that you pay for a 30 minutes all you can eat. This is more than enough and allows for a big throughput. The staff is very nice and we are not aware of any case in which a guest had to pay more for overrunning the time.

The second advantage of this location is that the staff often asks you whether there is something missing on the band. If possible, they will add the missing food as fast as possible.
