Hundreds of Bubble Tea variations

Unfortunately, MEITO closed down.

The Meito at Rindermarkt is the second shop in Munich dedicated to the asian cult drink Bubble Tea (or Pearl Milk Tea). Shortly after its opening, the customers beat a path to its door. During rush hours, the queue can easily reach out to the sidewalk, even though there are constantly up to seven employees serving behind the counter.

Here, you can get your Bubble Tea in countless variations. Firstly, you pick your tea (black, green or Jasmin) and the desired temperature (cold, warm or frapp with crashed ice). After that, you can choice between 17 different flavours, which you can combine as well (the first one is free, add more for 0,30 Euro each). In the end, you have to select your toppings. You can choose between classic tapioca pearls, five different Bobas (balls with filling) and six different jellies. Again, the first topping is free while each additional one costs 0,50 Euro. The drink is available in two different sizes, short (3,20 Euro) and tall (4,20 Euro).

Our recommendation: Green or black tea, cold with milk and classical tapioca pearls, as well as one Boba topping. The advantage of this combination is that you get that original feeling while drinking (thanks to the consistency of the tapioca pearls) as well as a nice tasty surprise by the Bobas. You should refrain from ordering more than three different toppings since you won’t have much drink left otherwise.

Bubble Tea arrived in Munich and it’s here to stay. Go check it out yourself!
